India v Pakistan Twenty20 World Cup 2012 - Will India Continues their winning record?

India will take on Pakistan in a must win game at R.Premdasa stadium, Colombo in Super Eight game of Twenty20 World Cup 2012. After loosing the game very badly to Australia in their first game that not only costed India a match but also jolted their Net Run Rate which will now take miracle for them to go into the semi final if they failed to win today against Pakistan.

India have lot of concern not only in their bowling department but also in their batting as well as fielding. Their bowlers were hammered by Australian openers in their previous game which will still play in the Indian captain M.S.Dhoni mind whose theory to play five specialist bowlers and six batsmen failed miserable against Australia.

So after Australia game, it's likely that India will go back to 7-4 theory and bring back Virendra Sehwag into the playing XI. Who brings X-factor with him whether he is in form or not. So far Indian tactics to open with I.Pathan has not worked well for India as he failed to give India a rapid start as they get from the bat of Sehwag-Gambhir combo.

India who have already beaten by Pakistanis in their warm-up game will look to turn their table and keep their hopes alive of making it to Semi Final of ICC World twenty20. So far after winning the first world cup in 2007, India have failed to win any of their super 8 games in previous two edition of the world cup and if the trend continues then India will fly early from Sri Lanka to prepare themselves for Champions League twenty20 2012.

Everyone knows that cricket is funny game and any thing can happen, by keeping these things in mind Indian Captain M.S.Dhoni suggested that his batsmen in ready to take any challenge and will express themselves in remainder of the matches. Whatever Dhoni says it's matter of playing smart cricket to outplay teams like Pakistan and South Africa. If MEN in Blue able to reach the semi final then it will be surely one of the very good achievement by considering the current form of bowlers as well as batsmen.

India is likely to go into the game with seven batsmen and four bowlers. On the other hand Pakistan have an edge over India as they have won their both games in Group Stage also beaten South Africa in tehir first super 8 games. So the morale of the team must be high.

However, one thing is in India favour that Pakistan have never won a single game against India in ICC World Cup tournament. So that's really a great news for team India.

Pitch will again play a crucial role today as it's slow down a bit from early stage. Any team who wins the toss is likely to bat first and put anywhere around 160 on the board to put pressure on the opposition team.

Likely Playing XI for Both Teams (Match is Schedule to begin at 19:30 PM India Time)

India Squad: Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni (Captain & WK), Irfan Pathan, Zaheer Khan, Ravichandran Ashwin, Lakshmipathy Balaji

Pakistan Squad: Mohd Hafeez (Captain), Imran Nazir, Nasir Jamshed, Kamran Akmal (WK), Umar Akmal, Shoaib Malik, Shahid Afridi, Umar Gul, Yasir Arafat, Saeed Ajmal, Raza Hasan
